David first opened the Cookstown Pharmacy in 1989, and then joined the Pharmasave brand in 1999 because of its strength in letting each owner tailor their store to best suit the community. As a result, Cookstown Pharmasave is more than just a pharmacy, and boasts a traditional ‘general store’ feel that David always knew would provide well for the communities needs.
David is most proud of how warm and friendly his Pharmasave is, due greatly to the wonderful staff that have remained with him for many years. Their dedication is also the reason why so many of the customers are known by name, and always feel like family when they walk in the door.
A graduate of the Bachelor of Pharmacy program from the University of Toronto, David remains as one of Cookstown Pharmasave’s Pharmacists today.
Outside of the store, David also enjoys being the financial manager of the South Simcoe Theatre, travels, is an avid gardener, and enjoys collecting wine.
